We are thrilled to announce our latest integration with BNB Chain. With this collaboration, Plena Finance will be launching our product (the Plena Finance mobile application) on the BNB Chain which is a blockchain software system that is developed by Binance and its community. We’re looking forward to taking advantage of BNB Chain’s low cost, eco-friendly and fast blockchain.

With this strategic integration with BNB Chain, we are aiming to offer the best Web 3.0 and DeFi solutions and tools on our application on a blockchain that runs in parallel to the Binance Chain. BNB Chain boasts smart contract functionality and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), unlike Binance Chain. Because of its EVM compatibility, the BNB Chain is launched with support from the rich universe of Ethereum tools and dApps. This feature makes things easier for everyone involved in the chain (developers and users alike).

Developers can issue new tokens to digitise assets, migrate existing dApps, become validators of BNB Chain and run nodes and develop wallets and tools that help users use the dApps. Users on their own can stake, send and receive BNB and other BEP-2 tokens across different chains.

BNB Chain is an innovative solution that was built to bring programmability and interoperability to Binance Chain. BNB Chain relies on a system of 21 validators with Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) consensus that can support short block time and lower fees. The most bonded validator candidates of staking will become validators and produce blocks. The double-sign detection and other slashing logic guarantee security, stability, and chain finality.

About Binance Smart Chain

BNB Chain (BSC) is an independent blockchain that adds the benefits of Smart Contracts and EVM compatibility to the original Binance Chain architecture. The BNB Chain was implemented as a separate chain so as not to affect the high throughput of the original Binance Chain.

Because these two are independent chains, BNB Chain can keep running even if there was a Binance Chain downtime.
